All bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions.
An order in person, via phone, email, text or any other form of electronic media, or receipt of a call sheet will be treated as acceptance of these terms.
Definitions
'Company' means Mike Grimley and/or anyone employed by or representing them.
'Production' means the client, customer or their representative(s).
'Payment' means any fees due to the 'Company'.
'Products' means any physical product(s) or services.
'Delivery' means physically transferring.
Bookings
Jobs are accepted by Mike Grimley at the price agreed and quoted in writing. Prices may vary due to supplier costs or subsequent client requirements. Any such additional costs will be advised as soon as they become apparent.
Confirmation of a booking must be received in writing before any job takes place. Mike Grimley cannot accept responsibility for misunderstanding resulting from verbal/ pencil bookings which are not followed up with a confirmation email or call sheet / shooting schedule.
Priority will be given to confirmed rather than pencil bookings.
Rates
All rates quoted are in GB pounds sterling and are based on a 10 hour day excluding VAT.
Hours over 10 are charged at 1.5T Hours over 14 at 2T. Invoices must be paid in sterling within 30 days.
Rates are subject to alteration without notice.
Not included unless otherwise agreed upon in advance in the 'Company' rates - tape/media stock, travel, road/tunnel/bridge tolls and congestion charges, car parking, accommodation and other reasonable expenses.
Any reasonable cost incurred during the production such as those listed above will be added to the invoice
Unless otherwise agreed, for the purpose of travel time and mileage, the 'Company' base is:
Friern Barnet, London, United Kingdom.
Cancellations
Every effort will be made by Mike Grimley to be flexible and understanding in relation to the changing nature of production schedules, however, for advance bookings that have been confirmed in writing by the client, the following cancellation terms apply:
Cancellations within 48 hours of job start date – 100% day rate charge applicable
Cancellations within 5 days of job start date – 50% day rate charge applicable
Payment
Invoices will be submitted for payment upon completion of work and payment is due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
Insurance
Mike Grimley has public liability insurance cover to the value of £2,000,000 and has all-risks insurance cover for owned and hired camera equipment.
Equipment
Mike Grimley will endeavour to appropriately advise clients where requested on camera, lighting and sound equipment and other matters relating to a shoot, but this guidance will not render Mike Grimley liable for (a) the suitability of the equipment for the shoot or (b) the overall success of the shoot.
Intellectual Property Rights
Any intellectual property rights applicable remain with the 'Company' until full and final 'Payment' has been received in accordance with the copyright, design and patents act 1988.
International Clients are required to pay a deposit at the time of booking and full estimated invoice 7 days prior to 1st day of shoot.
